Biography
Gail Goolsby has been a career educator, over 30 years, as a teacher, counselor, and administrator, and most recently working as a trained life coach. Gail and her husband moved overseas to provide quality education for the people of Afghanistan in 2005. She served 6 ½ years as the founding principal of the International School of Kabul, the American K-12, college prep school. They returned in Sept 2012.
Gail started LIVE WELL counseling and life coaching services in St. Joseph, MO in spring 2013. She became the Director of the Mid-America Region for American Home Life International (AHLI), a homestay program that places international high school students with Christian host families while they attend schools in the US. In February 2015, Gail and Michael relocated to Wichita for his new missions pastor position. She continues her work with AHLI and counseling/coaching clients through Learn to Live Well services..
Gail writes for various Christian women websites and magazines and speaks to groups about her experiences in Afghanistan and learning to live well. She has 3 grown children, 2 sons-in-law and 3 spunky granddaughters and has been married 40 years.
