2021 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Stacy Feil

President


Stacy Feil, PCC, NBHWC, currently serves as President of ICF Heartland. As an executive coach, she works with decision-makers, boards, and entrepreneurs who are committed to making a difference in the world by creating a more sustainable future.

 

With over 20 years of leadership and management experience in professional services, engineering and technology, Stacy believes that meaningful engagement drives success, both personally and professionally. She envisions the future of ICF Heartland as an organization of dynamic member interaction and supportive camaraderie through communications technology and member events that bridge the geographical distance between chapter members across the states of Kansas and Missouri. She also believes that while coaching is a tool for effective conversations that open minds and inspire growth, a thriving member association is a tool for effective community that engenders unity and promotes an enduring positive presence.

 

Prior to her ICF Heartland presidency, Stacy served on the Membership Committee, Marketing Committee and as Vice President. In 2019, she was the ICF Heartland Future Leader award winner. She holds degrees in engineering and computer science, sustainable design, and organizational communications as well as multiple leadership, environmental sustainability, and coaching certifications. For fun, she teaches wellness through classical, therapeutic yoga.


Katherine Alsip

Vice President/President-Elect


Katherine Alsip, ACC, MSOD, is the Vice President of ICF Heartland. She previously served as Treasurer for two years and on several committees. Katherine has spent 10+ years of her career training and designing team building and leadership development programs as a challenge course facilitator all over the Midwest. She holds a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Organizational Development, along with post-graduate certificates in Executive Leadership and Leadership Coaching. Katherine is a certified assessment specialist and holds active certifications from TTI Success Insights. She currently serves as an adjunct professor for Avila University in their coach training certificate.

Judy Jorgensen

Treasurer



Judy Jorgensen, MBA, ACC, SHRM-SCP was past Secretary for ICF Heartland and currently serves as Treasurer. Judy has an extensive background in Human Resource Leadership and is committed to helping leaders enhance engagement and results. She completed coaching training through the College of Executive Coaching in 2015 and is applying those skills both as an HR professional and as a Leadership Coach.  

Heather Cunningham

Secretary


Heather Cunningham is a strengths-based, certified Whole Person Coach, a certified Kolbe Consultant, the Director of Student Success at Coach Training World, and Founder of Next Chapter Coaching and Training. Heather joined ICF Heartland as a new ICF member in May 2020 and is currently pursuing the ACC credential while serving as ICF Heartland's Secretary.


Whether working with individuals or teams, she helps them identify and leverage their unique strengths, develop strategies to overcome obstacles and move forward with confidence. As a result, clients learn to let go of the old stories and patterns that are holding them back to reclaim the power to rewrite their story and reset their trajectory for a brighter future.

Gina Marx

Program Chair



Dr. Gina Marx, PCC serves as Program Chair and is a past president of ICF Heartland. Gina has been a speaker, trainer and consultant with adult learners in businesses and schools for 30 years. Consulting and Coaching align with Gina’s passion of servant leadership in developing others to become their own best selves. Her diverse background includes private business for 7 years, Internal Coach for a business, Associate Professor and Director of a Graduate Education Program, Assistant Superintendent of two school districts, Staff Development Director of a Service Center, Principal and teacher. 

Liz Dobbins

Membership Co-Chair


Liz Dobbins, ACC, spent 40 years as an educator, high performance coach and consultant across all domains from the wee-ones though higher education. Within her journey of teaching, she has led research in the health and wellness department at the University of Kansas, which has been influential at state and national levels. She has served previously on the ICF Heartland board and is the new Membership Chair. As the founder and CEO of Propelogy, she serves leaders as an educational consultant and high-performance coach.

Rachel Thalmann

Membership Co-Chair



Rachel Thalmann, PCC is a Membership Co-Chair for ICF Heartland. She helps professional women transition into higher levels of leadership and development and make their move with confidence and ease. She currently serves as an executive coach for INspired Leadership at ESSDACK at ventureinspired.org.

Brian Graves

Past President


Brian Graves, ACC, is the past President of ICF Heartland. He is a Certified Leadership Coach through Avila University and credentialed by the International Coaching Federation. Brian served more than 26 years in the military where he devoted his career to developing future leaders. He has extensive experience in training, strategic planning and coaching for improved organizational effectiveness.
