Biography

Dr. Booz is the founder of Booz and Associates, Inc., an Executive and Organizational development firm.  He is educated as a marriage and family therapist, executive coach, leadership and team trainer.  He has designed many multiple day workshops and seminars on leadership development and team effectiveness.  Dr. Booz received his post-graduate certification as an executive coach from the College of Executive Coaching.  He is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

As a certified executive coach, Dr. Booz has coached top executives, managers and their teams to become top performers.  He has created and facilitated team trainings for a variety of organizations.  He is recognized for his expertise in linking emotional intelligence and conversational intelligence to personal and professional objectives.  Dr. Booz is a Master Certified Coach in Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ) and a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Dr. Booz utilizes a variety of instruments to help advance the learnings of his clients.  Dr. Booz is also recognized as a positive self-talk trainer in the field of personal development.

Currently, Dr. Booz coaches and teaches remotely Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Training for the University of Kansas Hospital managers.  His first book was, The Emotional Intelligence Primer: How to be the difference that makes the difference for today's leaders.  His second book, Negative Self-talk: What we wish we didn't hear and how to change it to be published in 2021.
