Biography
Seth is the Program Manager for Leadership Development & Coaching at the Wichita State University Community Engagement Institute. As an extension of those duties, he also serves on the teaching and coaching team at the Kansas Leadership Center and is part of the mentor coaching team for KLC's Leadership Coach Intensive.
On staff at WSU since 2006, he has worked with nonprofit boards, coalitions and government agencies all over the state. Seth has earned the Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coach Federation and was the first person to complete the Kansas Leadership Center coach training.
Seth has embraced the coaching profession after seeing how much progress committed coaching clients can make on their challenges. Seth’s approach is grounded in the belief that more is always possible, so he is particularly ready to coach people who are considering taking new risks and people who are trying to stay in touch with their creativity. He served two years on the executive committee of the International Coach Federation Heartland Chapter.
A lover of group singing, Seth often travels with an instrument and an iPad full of song lyrics. He lives in Winfield with his wife, Jenny, and their two children. Seth's book Winfield's Walnut Valley Festival was a 2023 Kansas Notable Book.
